North Shore
We had to do it. This is the cult classic, North Shore, about Rick Cane the best wave pool surfer in the state of Arizona flying to the North Shore to get his butt kicked. "He's so haole, he doesn't even know he's haole." Its really a compromise, putting up with the lame story line in order to enjoy the epic wave footage and the hillarious cameos from all the top surfers of that era - but its worth it.

180 Degrees South
This week we've got a great surf film from Patagonia documenting Jeff Johnson's trip from California through Easter Island to South America stopping to catch some tasty waves along the way. Killer footage, lots of great product placement shots of Patagucci gear, and a decent story line. Aimed to please. Check it out.

The Windsurfing Movie 2
The crew from Poor Boyz Production is at it again. An incredible sequel to the first movie, this one is just as awesome. Insane camera work and filming (how do they do that!?), epic windsurfing conditions and locations, and a cast of crazy-talented wave sailors. You'll want to check this one out for sure.

Step Into Liquid
This is one of the greatest feel-good surf movies ever. Every man, woman and kid in this film can barely express the love they have for the ocean and riding waves because of the huge smiles on their faces. Instead, they let the visuals and the locations speak for themselves.

The Pipeline Masters
An incredible documentary of the history of the most prestigious event in professional surfing - The Pipeline Masters. The Bonzai Pipeline on the north shore of Oahu is the most dangerous wave in the world due to the huge swells that break over its shallow craggy reef. The Pipeline Masters is held every December when winter storms in the north Pacific send huge waves to the shores of Hawaii. The world's best convene at Pipeline every winter in the gaping barrels of Pipe to compete for the honor of being immortalized as a Pipeline master.

Blue Horizon
Jack McCoy delivers the goods as he captures the most exciting year on tour in professional surfing. In 2003, Andy Irons, the defending world champion, feels the pressure of having to defend the crown while his old time rival, Kelly Slater, makes him work for it on every stop on the tour. Kelly and Andy are the great surfing rivals in professional surfing and film maker Jack McCoy does an excellent job capturing the tension between these two highly competitive athletes.
