Come get fired up for the ski and ride season every Wednesday night this winter with insanely good pan fried chicken wings and mouth watering flicks on the big screen. We'll provide the wings, the suds, and an inspiring snow flick each week with showings at 6:00 and 7:30.

To kick things off, we're showing "Head for the Hills" from the super rad and local filmakers at Meathead Films. Come on in and show your support for the seasonal shift into winter while chowing down on some great grub. The wings are cheap and the movie is free. Full menu is also available (of course). North Shore
We had to do it. This is the cult classic, North Shore, about Rick Cane the best wave pool surfer in the state of Arizona flying to the North Shore to get his butt kicked. "He's so haole, he doesn't even know he's haole." Its really a compromise, putting up with the lame story line in order to enjoy the epic wave footage and the hillarious cameos from all the top surfers of that era - but its worth it. 180 Degrees South
This week we've got a great surf film from Patagonia documenting Jeff Johnson's trip from California through Easter Island to South America stopping to catch some tasty waves along the way. The Windsurfing Movie 2
The crew from Poor Boyz Production is at it again. An incredible sequel to the first movie, this one is just as awesome. Insane camera work and filming (how do they do that!?), epic windsurfing conditions and locations, and a cast of crazy-talented wave sailors. Step Into Liquid
This is one of the greatest feel-good surf movies ever. Every man, woman and kid in this film can barely express the love they have for the ocean and riding waves because of the huge smiles on their faces. The Pipeline Masters
An incredible documentary of the history of the most prestigious event in professional surfing - The Pipeline Masters. The Bonzai Pipeline on the north shore of Oahu is the most dangerous wave in the world due to the huge swells that break over its shallow craggy reef. The Pipeline Masters is held every December when winter storms in the north Pacific send huge waves to the shores of Hawaii. Movie Night Tonight: Blue Planet - Open Ocean

We're changing things up a bit this week. Rather then show a surf flick we've got one of the most amazing films by the BBC of the open ocean world. Pods of dolphin and tuna devouring bait fish, humpback whales migrating through acres of krill, and thousands of miles of open ocean. Very cool stuff.

Every Thursday night from now through the end of summer, we'll be queueing up a movie from our wind and waves collection to air first at 6:00PM for the early dinner kids wave, then again at 7:30PM for the later crowd. During both showings, we'll be offering flatbread pizza specials starting at $7.95 and pints of Switchback for $3.50.

Feel free to spread the word and invite friends, neighbors, kids, and anyone you know of that loves surf flicks. Also remember, we've scheduled two showings, one at 6:00 for kids and families, another at 7:30 for the "late" crowd.

Ventura, CA native and prodigal surfing son, Dane's most challenging task everyday is living up to the expectations placed on him. He's been labeled as the next Kelly Slater, and when you see him surf, its easy to see why. He's doing well in this year's ASP title race and who knows, maybe this will be the year he pulls it all together.

It can't be easy living in the shadow of your older brother and former World Title holder, but Bruce carries himself well with his "I don't really care attitude".
